Vaughny Charity Contest


At Vaughny Custom Shoes, our mission is to not only to create one of a kind custom shoes but to also give back to our community. That is why Vaughny donates a minimum of 10% to charities across Canada helping the almost 1.3 million children living in poverty. We believe in the importance of giving back and looking out for our communities, so we have decided to donate $100,000 to a charitable organization next month!
We are hosting a contest for charitable organizations for a chance to receive our $100,000 donation. If your organization is interested in this opportunity, we highly encourage you to enter!
How to Qualify: 
To qualify, your organization must: 
  • Be an IRS registered nonprofit organization 
  • Been in operation for a minimum of 5 years 
  • Be a Canadian based organization
  • Be focused on making positive change
How to enter:
To enter please create a 5-10 page document or a 10-15 minute long video explaining the basis of your organization, why it was started, who it helps, your organization's goals and why your organization deserves to receive our $100,000 donation. Please also make sure to provide the appropriate documentation proving you meet the requirements stated above. 
You can submit your entry in pdf or mp4 format, on our “Giving Back” page of our website in the Charity Contest file dropbox. 
We are accepting submissions starting April 13 and the drop box closes on the 24th, so make sure you don't miss your opportunity to receive $100,000. Have fun and good luck, we look forward to seeing your submissions!

From Basement to Business

Over the course of the past few months, Vaughny Custom Shoes has skyrocketed into success. We are overjoyed by the amount of support we've received from the community and the abundant increase in orders made, since first opening shop in October of 2019. What started as a high school girl painting her old Converse shoes in her room, has now transcended into a thriving business, bringing peoples ideas to life on their shoes for thousands across the country. The summer of 2019 is when Vaughny’s founder, Kaila Wagner, began her journey into the world of shoe painting. Bored one day, she put a paintbrush to her dirty old Converse shoe and started to paint. As family and friends began noticing her unique painted kicks, more and more requests for custom shoes started pouring in.
